WOW. Literally, it's been one WHOLE year since I wrote in here. Time flies when you're having fun, I suppose. (Although, busting your ass at college is not as much fun as it sounds.)

I got lots of phone calls today (which I need to return), lots of snail mail greeting cards, lots of birthday wishes on Facebook (yes, I have one of those, if you want to look me up on there if you have one, be my guest), lots of everything, really.

Although, I must admit, there is a small twinge of sadness in my heart. Today would have been my Golden Retriever Alex's 12th birthday, but he passed away on Mar. 15th (literally, one day before I came home for Spring Break). I wanted to go out today and get a tattoo of him somewhere on my leg, but, unfortunately, I don't have the money to do so. I loved that dog more than anything and I miss him a hell of a lot. On a positive note, my Maine Coon cat, Sasha is also celebrating her birthday today. So, happy 4th birthday, Sasha! I love you and miss you! (I know she can't read this either, so It's MY birthday. I can do what I want.)

And right now, I REALLY want April 22nd to come faster. I want my Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. YES. I am geeking out about the two new DS games. It can't be helped.

Tonight, my boyfriend is taking me out to dinner in Lawrence for my birthday, which is UBER sweet. I might also pop over to The Red Dot Boutique (aka Target) for some birthday shopping. Who knows. I know I don't want to do homework until much later... and even then, will I get around to it? I hope so. But... well. :3
